LAHORE: (Wednesday, August 13, 2025): In connection with Independence Day, Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali inaugurated tree plantation drive at Botanical Garden and College of Earth & Environmental Sciences. In this regard ceremonies were held at CEES and Botanical Garden here on Wednesday. On this occasion, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood, Registrar Dr Ahmad Islam, Dean Faculty of Geo Sciences Prof Dr Sajid Rashid Ahmed, Director Institute of Botany Prof Dr Shakil Ahmed, CEES Principal Prof Dr Irfan Sheikh, RO-II Dr Naseem Ahmed Yaseen, religious scholar Abdul Wahab Attari, faculty members and employees were present. PU VC Prof Dr Muhammad Ali urged the teachers to plant trees in their surroundings and look after them for a better future.
